Rebel Heir (Rush Series Duet #1)by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward
From New York Times Bestselling authors Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, comes the first book in a new, sexy duet.
How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn't supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
Rebel Heir is the first book in the Rush Series Duet. Book Two, Rebel Heart, will release six weeks later on May, 22, 2018.

These 2 authors are fire!! Everything they put on the page is fantastic. I honestly didn't even read the blurb for this one before I signed up. I saw the author names and knew I was interested in reading it no matter what. I was not disappointed. This was such a good read. I loved Gia and her smart mouth and Rush was such an intimidating character to start but the more we get to know him the more we see his true self come to life around Gia. There were so many things to love about this book. The way the characters meet and the journey they go on through out this book and the twist that will leave you completely shocked. After I finished the last pages I just sat there for a few minutes while the whole bombshell played out over and over in my head. I LOVED it and I am biting my nails while waiting on the next book. This is going to get super intense in the next book and I cannot wait!!
Beautiful Mistakeby Vi Keeland
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.
He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.
When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass.
You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend--smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.
He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.
Only it turned out, the man I'd just told off wasn't the right guy.
Oops. My mistake.
Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.
I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?
That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning.
Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.
I’ll be working under you…figuratively speaking.
Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing—working under Professor West.
This was going to be interesting…

I am pretty sure I say this after every book I read by Vi Keeland but I find myself wanting to say it again. This is my new favorite book by this author. I love everything about the way this author tells a story. The characters are always so beautifully written and struggling in ways that make you relate to them so much more. Everyone has things in their past that scar them or damage them, whether it was something they did or something that happened to them. The way these character are brought to life and the way they tell their stories is so relatable and beautiful.
I love the way Rachel and Caine first meet and I love the way they interact after that. I loved that the characters had me cheering for them and also yelling at them for being stupid. The range of emotions this book brings out are what makes reading one of my favorite things to do. I fell in love with the music connection in the book and found myself listening to music differently after reading it and I will never pick up a penny again without this book popping into my mind. I will forever be a fan of this author and her work. I cannot wait to read what comes next and an so grateful to have gotten to experience such a talented authors work.
Throb by Vi Keeland
The rules:
No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.
Rules were made to be broken, right?
Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

I am a huge fan of Vi Keeland so when given the opportunity to review this book I jumped on it. When I read the blurb for this I was expecting a completely different storyline than what I got. I absolutely loved this and I was wonderfully surprised by the direction the story takes. This is the first book I have read that involves a reality TV type storyline, so right away I was intrigued. As always Vi Keeland has created fantastic characters with great development and a story that keeps you interested. Kate is a tough chick who can hold her own against men most women would find intimidating and Cooper is used to women who are intimidated by him, so Kate is a breath of fresh air for him. One of the best things about this book is that you also find yourself loving some of the supporting characters. Flynn was amazing and I cannot wait to find out more about him. From the storyline to the writing style to the characters, this book is fantastic. Congratulations Vi Keeland on once again giving us an amazing story.
