Wide Open Spaces (Shooting Stars #2)By Aurora Rose Reynolds
That moment your life changes.
That moment that changes your life.
That moment you love someone more than you love yourself.
That was the moment we gave our son up for adoption and the moment I was left bare. A wide-open space that would forever be empty.
There are moments that define you as a person, moments that prove just how strong you are, moments you push yourself to keep going forward when all you really want to do is give up. It was in one of those moments when I reached out and found him waiting for me.
When Shelby Calder left home fifteen years ago, she never planned on returning to the Alaskan town she left behind. But after the death of her grandfather and a bitter divorce, she hopes going home will be a fresh start for her and her ten-year-old son.
Zach Watters has made a lot of mistakes in his life. But when he sees Shelby Calder, looking more beautiful than ever, standing outside her childhood home, he promises himself that letting her go won't be a mistake he ever makes again.
Some things never change and love is one of them.
Manda's 4 Star Review
This is yet another fantastic addition to the works of Aurora Rose Reynolds. I had not read the first book prior to starting this one but after reading this one I am definitely going back to read the first one. While this is a little different than what we may be used to from this author it is still a fantastic read. It lacks the action of previous books but it is definitely not lacking in drama or quality story telling. This is a fantastic second chance romance and I loved every second of it. The story itself with break your heart and make you fall in love with the characters. I really enjoyed this one and just really love this authors work.

Until June (Until Her #2) by Aurora Rose Reynolds
June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.
Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?
Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?
Manda's 3 Star Review
This one is a little different than the others in the series so far. It's a little more tame in the action sense and plays more on the emotional side. The writing is as always really well done and the characters are well developed and easy to love. The storyline is not as action packed as some of the previous books, but it definitely keeps you turning the pages and falling even more in love with the characters. We get a little bit of June and Evan from the past they shared but mostly we stay in the present and see the people they have grown into while apart. I liked that this one was different because not all of these next generation characters are going to have the same kind of story. They all have different personalities and attract different kinds of partners. Some are action packed and full of dangerous situations and some fight a different kind of battle. Its a good representation of how different each character and situation is. This one may not be my personal favorite in the series so far but it definitely is a great addition to the series and brings in a whole new aspect to these books. I cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Until Jax (Until Him #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds
Ellie Anthony isn’t looking for love. She isn’t even looking for a man, but when Jax Mayson insists on keeping her and her daughter safe, she’s left with no choice but to trust him. Now she just hopes she doesn’t get hurt when she falls hard for a guy who’s known for breaking hearts.
Jax Mayson knows that Ellie is his BOOM the moment he sees her. When he finds out she has a daughter, he realizes he wants a family, and he will do whatever is necessary to keep both of his girls safe, even if that means facing the demons from his past.
Manda's 4 Star Review
I am a huge fan of the Until series, so naturally I was excited to start reading the next generation books. I was particularly excited to read Until Jax because I am a huge Cash and Lilly fan. I loved young Jax in their story and could not wait to read about him all grown up and finding his BOOM. There are a lot of similarities between this book and Until Lilly. Being such a huge fan of Until Lilly this wasn't a huge issue for me and it was interesting to see how Jax handles situations that were somewhat similar to what his parents went through. Even with the similarities Jax and Ellie still manage to draw you into their story and keep you there. Prior to reading this author I was never a huge fan of the insta-love books, but there is just something so special about the Mayson men finding their BOOM. I absolutely love these books and cannot wait for the next one.

Until July (Until Her #1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds
Wes Silver wasn’t looking for love, but when July Mayson literally knocks him on his ass during their first encounter, his world is turned upside down by the quirky blonde, and every moment with her makes him more determined to protect her.
July Mayson doesn’t understand the pull she feels toward the bad boy biker Wes Silver, but she knows being with him is like nothing she’s ever felt before. Now all she has to do is tell her overprotective father, Asher Mayson, that she’s found her boom
Manda's 4 Star Review
I am so excited for this series!! I absolutely loved the Until series and could not wait to start hearing all about their children. As always with Aurora Rose Reynolds this book is wonderfully written and so easy to fall into. Other than having trouble remembering who belonged to which parent I was completely into this book. I loved July and Wes and thought their story was fantastic. I also loved that we get a little bit of the original crew also. I cannot say enough about this book and this author. Every book she writes keeps you hooked from start to finish. A fantastic start to what is sure to be another fantastic series. Congratulations Aurora Rose Reynolds and I cannot wait for the next book

Manda’s 4 Star Review
After a brutal attack in New York nearly kills her November leaves the big city for a small town in Tennessee. After spending her life with a mother who really didn’t care she now has the chance to connect to a father she doesn’t really know. November goes to work for her father doing the books for his strip club. He has strict rules that keep her away from the club during business hours the only exception being when he takes he in to introduce her to a few employees. That’s when she has her first encounter with Asher. Mayson. He is the best looking man she has ever seen until he opens his mouth. Determined to have nothing to do with him she can’t catch a break when he shows up where she least expects him. Asher is determined to make her his and keep her safe.
I loved this book. At first I thought Asher was a bit over the top but I really started to love his character the more in to the story I got. I was actually sad when I saw how short the book was. I loved the relationship development between November and her family and the relationships between the entire Mayson family. A really good book that has me excited for the next story. Asher Mayson is Alpha to the extreme so be prepared and read this series you wont regret it.
My 4 Star Review!!
November lived in New York City, where she spent the majority of her life living with a mom who could care less what her daughter was doing. After a vicious attack left November in a cold ally by herself beaten and bloody, she makes up her mind to pick up and move in with her father in Tennessee. So November packed her car along with Beast, her dog who saved her from her attacker, and made the trip to her fathers. November starts working for her fathers strip club doing the books, where she eventually meets Asher. After one brief encounter where Asher mistakes November as a stripper, Asher has his heart set on her. Until November is November and Asher’s story filled with a total alpha male, a sassy heroine, and an epic romance filled with love and some twist and turns.
I loved Asher. He was so domineering yet kind and loving at the same time. He set his heart on November and you can actually see his feelings grow during the book. November is such a strong character. She is funny and made me laugh out loud several times. I am glad this series has multiple books. I can feel myself growing attached to these characters as the pages go.

Manda’s 4 Star Review:
Liz Hayes has always been shy and quiet. Picked on all her life by some of the girls in her town, she prefers to keep to herself. Until she meets Trevor Mayson. The pair strike up a friendship and grow close until one night Trevor rejects Liz and then goes on to avoid her. Heartbroken Liz gives up on ever having anything with Trevor including a friendship. After a betrayal by a family member leaves her struggling to keep her business she has no choice but to go to November’s father for a job. When Trevor forces his way back into her life and tries to help, she must decide if she can trust him.
I LOVE this series! I love the characters and how they relate to one another. I was so excited to read this book after finishing the first book. I loved Asher and just knew that Until Trevor was gonna blow me away. The Mayson brothers are fantastic characters and I am even more excited about the next book in the series. This is a must read series!
My 4 Star Review
Liz Hayes has had a hard life. Growing up after her father died, she was utterly alone besides her brother. Her mom checked out drinking her life away, and she had no friends at school. Living in the same town being an adult, things still aren’t the best for Liz. Liz is still that same shy and socially awkward person she was in high school with little friends, that is until she meets November, who then introduces her to Asher and his brother Trevor. After spending time together and learning who each other is Trevor and Liz have one night where things get hot and heavy, but right before the act can be committed Trevor mistakes something Liz says and turns her away. After putting her broken heart back together, Liz is bound and determined to stay away from Trevor, but Trevor has other plans for Liz. Once Trevor realizes he was mistaken he makes a blatant attempt to win Liz back.
I was so excited to read this book after ending Until November and it did not disappoint. I love how all the characters are intertwined together in the series, so you can still catch up on the characters you loved from the previous book. Trevor is dominant like Asher, but he is defiantly much more sexually explicit than Asher. Liz is so sweet and kind, but defiantly has a little attitude when she wants to. The relationship between Liz and Trevor was so amazing. Until Trevor is a story of a second chance love, a story of finding yourself, and most of all a romance story filled with some alpha male love. I cannot wait until the next book!

The power of love is a beautiful thing.

Manda’s 5 Star Review:
When Cash Mayson met Lilly Donovan he knew he had found his BOOM. Just when he thinks things are perfect the unthinkable happens, leaving Cash to make the hardest decision of his life. He knows he has to do what is right in order to protect his unborn child, even if it means leaving his love behind.
After the biggest heartbreak of her life Lilly has no choice but to move forward with her life for the sake of her daughter. Years later fate brings the couple back into each others lives, but things are different now and broken trust is hard to mend. As Cash and Lilly get to know each other again and Cash builds a relationship with his daughter a threat from the past threatens to destroy it all.
I cannot get enough of these Mayson brothers!! Each book in the series just keeps getting better and better. Cash and Lilly’s story is one I couldn’t put down. Aurora Rose Reynolds has an amazing talent for writing and writes characters you just can’t help but love. The storyline is wonderfully written and engaging. The love and sense of family in these stories is so heartwarming and refreshing. Cash and Lilly are beautiful and strong character with an amazing story. I can’t say enough about this series and this amazing author. I am definitely a huge fan and absolutely cannot wait for Nico!!
Mag’s 5 Star Review:
These books just keep getting better as they progress!
For the Mayson boys there is said to be a curse placed upon them. They find their special someone and when that happens it is like BOOM and they can’t live their lives without them. Cash knew who his BOOM was, but unforeseen circumstances stopped him from being able to be with her. Cash made the difficult decision to cut all ties with Lilly and focus on becoming a father to his unborn child.
Lilly Donovan loved Cash more than she ever thought she would love another person, but being dropped right after giving her virginity to Cash left her utterly heartbroken and alone. Soon Lilly finds out she is pregnant and with Cash’s child, but lies and manipulations prevent her from ever working things out with Cash. Fast forward years later, Cash and Lilly are reunited once again and Chas is willing to do everything in his power not to let his girl and his daughter go ever again.
I am so beyond in love with every single one of these Mayson boys! I swear they just get better with each passing book. Cash is my all time favorite of the brothers (so far) and he did not disappoint. He is a wonderful father and faithful lover. He is beautiful inside and out, and makes you thank his mother and father for making such an amazing person. Lilly is such a strong individual, especially after being lied to and then forced to face pregnancy alone without anyone to rely on. The way the author has them reunite and find themselves along with each other is beautiful. Shocking twists and turns help keep this book action packed until the very end. I would highly recommend these books to everyone and I can not wait for Nico’s book!
