El Santo (The Saint #1)by M. Robinson
I didn’t know darkness and evil lurked inside me until I had to murder in order to survive. Forced to become my own worst enemy. With so much blood on my hands, I was surprised I could still see my own skin.
I killed.
I tortured.
I loved…
I played God while I was rotting in Hell. Thriving on control and power was the only way I knew how to live. There were no other options.
If you weren’t my friend, you were my foe.
If you weren’t with me, you were against me.
Traitors, as I called them. There were no imaginary lines. I’d crossed them all. No boundaries. No second chances. No redemption.
Not for me.
For them.
For anyone.
Only for her…
She loved me. Always convinced I was a saint, never believing I was just another sinner.
A fucking monster.
Until it was too late.
Except, I didn’t choose this life. It. Chose. Me.
Standalone contemporary romance.

Oh my gahhhh!! What just happened!!! I am still in serious shock over this one. First off I love this authors work. Every single book has been a must tell everyone to get kind of read for me. So I was obviously super excited for this one.
Honestly I had a bit of trouble getting into the book at first. I really hated the way the story began. Not the writing or the way the story is told just the way it plays out. It's a horrifying beginning but it had to be for the story to play out the way it does. So it took a bit for me to get into it and then I was so overcome with anger for a certain main character that I had a mini rage moment and had to take a break. This should tell you how good of a book it is!! For such an extreme reaction to a character and story. Then things get extreme and I couldn't put it down. Now at this point I notice the lack of remaining pages and I began to panic a little. I wanted so many things for the characters and the story and I thought I was either going to be disappointed or left wanting more. I should have know this amazing author would leaving me wanting more. After I finished and read the author note I sat there for a good little bit just staring at that note. This is what a cliffhanger is all about!! I was sad that I didn't get more but more than anything I was excited for the next book. I cannot contain my excitement about getting the next book. I am beyond excited and even though I wont have to wait long it is going to feel like forever.
So in closing let me say M. Robinson is pure evil but I adore her work. This is a fantastic book and it will leave you staring blankly at that author note praying for the next book to get here quickly!!!

So I have read enough of M. Robinson’s books to know she was going to take me on a heartbreaking ride in this one. I was not wrong! The drama and heartbreak... wow just wow. This book was an emotional ride from start to finish. There was just so much to this story. So many things happening that we had no idea about and though we had our suspicions there was no way we could have figured out the evil that was lurking in the shadows. This author has an amazing talent for writing and she really outdid herself with these 2 books. Not only that but she gave us a taste of what is to come and let me tell you I cannot wait!!.
El Diablo (The Devil #1) by M. Robinson
I was ruthless.
I was feared.
I had sacrificed. Myself. Her. Everything...
Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I’ve done things I’m not proud of. Seen things that can’t be unseen. I’ve caused pain that I can’t undo.
It was all my choice.
Every decision.
Every order.
Right and wrong never mattered.
Until her.
She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.
But who was going to save her...
From. Me. The devil himself.
Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.

Wow!! What a story!! I can honestly say that every book I have read by this author I have LOVED. The writing is fantastic and the stories are always raw and intense. I started this book and could not stop reading. I was up until 3 am just so I could finish it. It was that good. I have never had so many conflicting emotions about a characters before. I loved Alejandro then I hated him and then I continued to go back and forth. He broke my heart over and over again in this book and I loved every second of it. There is no equal to M. Robinson in the drama and angst department in my opinion. She has an absolute gift for creating these emotionally heart wrenching books. Each one gets better and better and I am just addicted. These characters are so deep and complex. Nothing is ever simple or boring. This book grips you from the beginning and will leave you thinking about it long after its over. I have loved all of M. Robinson books but this one is just on a whole different level. I am just amazed at how caught up in the book I was and how it was able to affect me on so many emotional levels. Fantastic work I am truly in awe of this gifted author. This is a MUST read!! I cannot wait for what comes next!!

I just finished this book and I am just blown away. I do not know how to put into words how amazing this book is. Each and every book in this series has been an emotional journey from childhood to adulthood, but this is by far the most powerful in my opinion. From the very first page this book draws you in and brings you along for the ride with 2 damaged souls.
I am a huge fan of this authors writing style and I find myself getting lost in her words and characters each and every time I pick up one of her books. This one even more so. The way she shares the story of Briggs and Austin will have you running through all your emotions. From each of the previous books we know that Austin walks a hard road and faces challenges that the others do not understand. He has spent his entire life trying to keep up with the good ol' boys but never feeling like he fit. In an effort to find himself he ends up losing himself completely. On his journey he meets Briggs and discovers in her a fellow lost soul. Briggs is such an amazing character. The strength and love she has is amazing to read and even at her lowest point she still radiates this strength and determination. This really is some amazing writing and some truly beautiful characters. M. Robinson has a real talent for storytelling and I am forever a huge fan.
Also the ending will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for what comes next from this amazing author!! I Cannot wait!! What an ending!!!Manda's 5 Star Review

Undo Me (The Good Ol' Boys #3) by M. Robinson
I fell in love with her when I was seventeen.
She brought me to my knees when I was twenty.
I loved her against reason.
I loved her against hope.
I loved her against all odds.
Now she's back, a constant reminder of what I lost, what could have been.
I hate her.
I resent her.
I still love her.
Can I forgive her...
Will she be my end once again or my beginning?

Wow! I don't even know what to say about this one. I am just completely blown away by this story and this author.
I have loved the other books in this series but this one is just amazing. I went into this one thinking I had an idea of what was going to play out. I never imagined the twists and turns this book would take. I can't even begin to describe the heartbreak I felt as a reader for these characters.
One of the best things about a really good book is falling into the story completely and living it right along with the characters. It is a rare and beautiful thing to experience this kind of emotion from a book.. M. Robinson has a gift for writing and I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to read her work.
I loved Dylan and Aubrey from the beginning. I loved the way they were together and the way they took care of each other. I cried for them when things started to unravel and I was completely heartbroken when we learn some of the truths to their story. I just cannot say enough how much I love this series, book and author. I want to say so much more but I don't want to give anything away. This is one of those books you have to experience yourself. I absolutely cannot wait to read more from this author and I am definitely a fan for life!

Forbid Me (The Good Ol' Boys #2) by M. Robinson
It was only a matter of time until the truth came out.
I never thought it would come to this…
I tried, God knows I tried to stay away from her but eventually I crossed that line and broke that trust. I could no longer go back and I sure as fuck didn’t regret a single moment of it. I knew there would be hell to pay, I knew the wrath I’d be facing but I would willingly take the burns and scars just to have the love of my best friend's sister.
If there is one person I’d willingly go to hell and back for it was…

I absolutely LOVE this series!!! I thought book one was amazing but this book is my new favorite!! I am a huge fan of the way M. Robinson tells a story. She has the amazing ability to steadily give you stories and characters you cannot get enough of. The writing as always is stellar and from start to finish keeps you engaged. Forbid Me is just an amazing story about love knowing no bounds. I love all the different dimensions of this story. Not only are we dealing with a best friends baby sister but there is also the fact all the characters in the story grew up together and all bring a different dimensions to the story. I absolutely love how strong and determined Lily is in this book. She has a pure heart and knows what she wants. The development of Jacob in this story is fantastic to witness. He goes through so many different changes to become the man he needs to be. Not only are Jacob and Lily amazing characters but we get a real sense of family and friendship through the other characters. I really cannot say enough about this book or this author. I am a huge fan and cannot wait until the next book!! This is definitely one you do not want to miss

Complicate Me (The Good Ol' Boys #1) by M. Robinson
It was complicated, it was also just the beginning.
A decision.
A simple choice.
There is always that one moment in life where things could have been different. That one moment where you could have chosen a path that would lead you down a certain road.
A different life.
It was easier to pretend that we were still best friends, and that she was my girl and I was her boy.
Pretending was better than knowing the truth...
I. Ruined. Us.
I had her.
I lost her.
I love her.
All I did was complicate us.
Manda's 5 Star Review
I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved this book!! From start to finish this book is heartbreakingly beautiful. Every word and every single emotion it brings out. This is by far one of the best stories I have read in a really long time. There is so much heart and emotion poured into each page that it takes me back to my own childhood. Being a tomboy myself I felt a connection to Alex and understand the love she had for her good ol' boys. The love and devotion this group of friends show for each other is so beautiful. The way the boys protect Alex and the way she cares for them. The bond she shares with each of the boys is evident from the very beginning but its the connection she shares with her Bo that makes this such a beautiful and at times heartbreaking read. This is probably one of the best representations of the bond of childhood friendship/growing up that I have ever read. Complicate me doesn't spare any details or gloss over all the emotion that comes with growing up and growing apart. Its all right there on every page making you feel the love and pain. Years and years of bad decisions and misunderstandings and pain all there for the reader to experience. All of it necessary to really grow up and learn about who you are and what you really want from life. Its truly a beautiful thing to get so caught up in a story that you feel like you are right there with the characters. M. Robinson has an amazing gift for writing and I am so in awe of her way with words. I am a fan of hers and have read her previous books, but to me this is her finest work yet. I cannot wait for what comes next and I can't get enough of this amazing group of friends. This will be one of those books that will stick with me. One that I will go back and reread when I need something that I know will be good and never lose its spark no matter how many times I read it. This is definitely a must read. You do not want to miss out on experiencing this amazing story.

The Madam (VIP #2) by M. Robinson
Some people need love…
I need sex, money, control, and power.
Anyone could have those four things, but only one could have VIP. Becoming Madam was never a choice for me, it was a mandated order from the most powerful woman I knew- my mother. I was born to fill her shoes, never to make mistakes, or to show weakness.
You are the product of your environment. They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree; you learn from what you see, not from what you’re told. Nature vs. Nurture. I learned from it all; what I saw, what I didn’t see, what I was told, and from reading between the lines.
I was raised with the belief that the world spun ONLY because of me. I held power as far back as I can remember, saw things no one ever talks about, and witnessed illegal acts of sex, drugs, and money by the time I was eighteen.
You saw a glimpse of me in VIP, now see it from the beginning. Enter my world where anything goes; no judgments, no remorse, no guilt. You play by my rules, or you don’t play at all. There are no limits to what I can do, or to what I can show you…I will ensure my legacy my any means necessary.
My name is Lilith Veronica Stone, and I am The Madam.
Manda's 3 Star Review:
We were introduced to The Madam in VIP, but now is her chance to tell you how it all began. From her privileged upbringing to her intense and competitive relationship with her mother. Lilith was born to be the The Madam, she was made to take over the family business that has been passed down for generations. She learned what to do and not to do from her mother and is determined to make VIP even better than it has ever been. Everything comes with a price though, and sometimes you have to ruthless to get what you want.
I had been hearing everyone talk about VIP for a while before I decided to give it a shot. It was not a storyline that I would typically jump at reading, but everyone was saying how great it was so I decided to give it a shot. After finishing VIP I knew I had to read The Madam. M. Robinson is a fantastic writer and I definitely see why everyone was excited about reading the story. Lilith is completely ruthless in obtaining what she wants but you can also feel how much she cares for her girls and will do anything to protect what is hers. M. Robinson really did a fantastic job at showing the depth of the characters and the extremes they go through in the story. You may not be a fan of Lilith after reading this story but the author does a really good job of showing how and why she became the person she did. The book leaves you wanting to know what happens next. I see big things going down in the next book and am looking forward to reading it. It is really good to step out of your comfort zone from time to time and read something you might not normally read. Its an excellent way to discover fantastic authors.
