Sweet Surrendering
She’s his boss. He doesn’t care. This office isn’t big enough for the two of them…
When Rory Clarke ends up hiring the guy she spent one steamy night with to be her administrative assistant, she's determined to keep things professional.
Lucas Blaine has other plans for her. He wants Rory, and it’s hard to resist his stunning blue eyes, chin dimple and the way he fills out a suit. Everywhere she looks, there he is, giving her a panty-melting smile and pulling her away for the most amazing (and satisfying) sex she’s ever had in her life.
What starts off as one sexual encounter turns into multiple trysts in and out of the office and the lines she’d tried to draw so carefully are blurring. But the closer they get, the more Rory realizes that there are things about Lucas she doesn’t know, things he’s hiding from her. She’ll have to decide if she can surrender to her feelings or get out while she still can.

Manda's 3 Star Review:
Sweet Surrendering is the story of Rory Clarke the Vice President of her father's company. Rory is smart, hardworking and out to prove that she is more than just the boss's daughter. In desperate need of an administrative assistant Rory interviews the irresistible Lucas Blaine. Rory and Lucas are immediately attracted to one another and Rory decides there is no way she can hire him for the job.
After several strong encouragements from the members of the company board Rory decides to give Lucas a chance. The pair struggle to keep their relationship professional and as they grow closer in becomes obvious that Lucas is hiding a big secret. The closer they become the more this secrets threatened to tear them apart.
I am a huge fan of Books by Chelsea M. Cameron. The Fall and Rise series is at the top of my recommend list! I was very excited for this book and couldn't wait to read it.
Sweet Surrendering is a quick read. It lacks a little bit in the build up and climax that we are used to in Chelsea M. Cameron's books, but the characters are well written. The chemistry between the main characters and the relationships between Rory and her friends and family will keep you involved and entertained. Not my favorite book of Chelsea M. Cameron. I was waiting for the big build up and twist in the story that just never came for me. Over all a good book, just lacking a bit of the excitement I was looking for.
My 2 Star Review!!
I have never read anything else from Chelsea, so I was a little disappointed to read Sweet Surrendering and not care for it. The book was written well with only a couple misplaced words or grammatical errors that I found, but I had zero connection to the characters or the plot. I feel like it had a lot of potential but fell short. I found myself skimping through the non-conversational parts of the book and even during some of the conversations I wasn’t that intrigued. Overall I thought this book was slow and I just couldn’t connect with it.
