First and Last by Rachael Duncan
Mia’s my best friend.
We’ve been inseparable since she moved next door when we were six years old. Then it all changed.
I don’t know when or why, but suddenly I want more. I wanther. The problem was she didn’t.
At first.
But everything changes when you cross that line between friends and lovers.
I thought convincing her to give us a chance would be my biggest hurdle. Little did I know that was only the beginning.
Mia consumes all of my thoughts when we’re apart, and all of my senses when we’re together. There’s no going back to the way things were and I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she isn’t just my first, but also my last.
Will we be able to hold on, or will our relationship go up in flames?
Manda's 5 Star Review
Beautiful, everything about this book is just beautiful. From the characters and the storyline to just the way the author chooses to tell the story. I have read books by this author in the past and have really enjoyed them but this is by far my favorite. The writing is engaging and the development of the characters is so well done it is impossible not to fall into their story. From the first page this amazing author takes you on a journey of love and life and has you biting your nails waiting to find out what will happen. I think it takes an extremely brave author to tell a story in the manner that this one is told in. It's so easy to lose a readers attention when you tell a story backward but Rachael Duncan does it beautifully and I just completely fell in love with this story. Definitely one of the best reads so far this year for me and I will be recommending this one to everyone.

Hopeless Vows by Rachael Duncan
It was a modern take on an arranged marriage that was supposed to lead to my happily ever after. The rules were simple:
1. Marry a complete stranger chosen for you by professionals.
2. Live together as man and wife for eight weeks while cameras record your every move.
3. Make a decision to stay together or get a divorce.
Call me crazy, but I had complete faith in the process, until I saw who was waiting for me at the end of the aisle.
Austin James has never met me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know him. With no other choice, I say my vows and pray I can make it through the next eight weeks. Then I’ll leave. What connects us is my best kept secret, and I’ll protect it at all costs even if that means walking away from the only person I’ve ever cared about.

I am not usually into these “reality show” type of books but I absolutely loved this one. The writing is really good and the characters are amazing. You will go through a whole range of emotions while reading this. From the very start this book is an attention getter and it holds you until the very end. Austin is an amazing character and I love how he comes into this feeling like this is going to be his forever and really putting in the work to make sure they are building something that lasts. Jillian is a complicated character because she also came into this experiment looking for forever but she has a secret that could ruin everything. I think the progression of the story and characters flow nicely and there are enough twists to keep you on the edge of your seat but not overwhelm you. The author does an amazing job bringing this story to life and it is definitely one I will recommend to anyone looking for a good book.

Wow! This book was the first of its kind that I have ever read before and I loved it! The feels I felt while reading this book were amazing! The characters were so very well developed and lovable! Austin was a character that I am drawn to. He is down to earth, truly kind and completely hot. Jillian has secrets she doesn't want to discuss but still comes off as sincere and humble. Their connection was with out a doubt one of the best I have felt in a long time. Both of these characters go into this experimental reality show for the same reason; to find love. What they find out is so much more!
I completely loved every minute of this book and it was easily the best book I've read so far in 2016! This book is worth every second it takes to read it and I would highly recommend it!
